On 20 a day…

My goal this week is to try and get in 20 miles everyday on the stationary bike in an attempt to preempt all the damage I’m going to do next week at the beach. I’m pretty sure that sitting on the beach all day, drinking beer and eating peanuts isn’t going to do a whole heck of a lot for me as far as the contest is concerned. I’ve gotten to the point where doing 12 miles really isn’t that big a deal, so what’s another 8? I usually just turn on the news and zone out anyway. G was trying to get me to just run on the beach next week, but who the hell wants to do that. I HATE running, and so do my knees (stoopid skateboards!).

I also promise to try and post more often this week and post more interesting stuff (like you care). I know my attempts to lose weight don’t make for the most interesting read. But it’s gotta be better than hearing about how much I hate sanding the ceilings in the effing house, which is the only other thing my life seems to consist of lately.
